Malaysian Higher Education Delegation Visited Our School

On September 26th, Helmy Bin Sulaiman, head of the overseas promotion department (EMGS) of the Malaysian ministry of education, led a delegation from six universities including University Kuala Lumpur, Kookmin University,Higher Education Learning Philosophy, Raffles Institution, SEGi University and Asia Pacific University of Technology &Innovation to visit our university. President Chen Jiachuan and vice President Liu Mengde warmly received the delegation and attended the meeting. The office of academic affairs, the office of graduate students, the international cooperation office and the heads of the secondary collegesthe foreign affairs specialist attended the talks.

Chen Jiachuan first extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and briefly introduced the history of the school and the basic situation in the integration of science and education, talent training, scientific research and social services, talent team construction and international education. Liu Mengde hopes the university can establish friendly and cooperative relations with universities in Malaysia, and establish sister friendly schools on the basis of equality, mutual trust and win-win cooperation for common development. Hilmi introduced the purpose of the Malaysian ministry of education delegation's visit, expressed the expectation of cooperation with our school in various fields, and hoped that the six universities in Malaysia could strengthen exchanges and cooperation with our school on the basis of equality and mutual trust and achieve results.

Afterwards, representatives from six universities in Malaysia introduced the history, specialty characteristics, international cooperation of their respective universities, as well as the fields and ways of cooperation with our university. The two sides also had in-depth discussions on teacher and student exchanges, mutual recognition of credits, cooperation in running schools, cooperation in scientific research and joint holding of international conferences.
