Our Students Won the Third Prize of the Third Shandong Provincial Competition of Study the Constitution, and Talk about the Constitution for College Students

Organized by the Shandong Provincial Education Department and operated by Qufu Normal University, the final of the 3rd Shandong Provincial Competition of Study the Constitution, and Talk about the Constitution” speech contest of the college group was successfully concluded on August 15th. On behalf of our school, Zhang Qingyuan, a 2017 grade law major from the School of Political Science and Law, attended the final of the college group. After the intense competition, she won the third prize.
Our school attached great importance to this competition. Before the competition, special selection and training were organized by the School of Political Science and Law, and a lot of instructions were given by the law teacher Zhang Peng on the entries. During the competition, Zhang Qingyuan gave a speech on the theme of “Taking Constitution as the Key Point, Knowing and Obeying the Law”. With her decent and graceful manners, impassioned speech, well-founded opinions, and good mentality, she perfectly interpreted the spirit of Study the Constitution, and Talk about the Constitution”, and won the unanimous approval of all judges.
It is reported that elites from 58 universities in Shandong participated in the Study the Constitution, and Talk about the Constitution” Competition. The competition was proceeded in the form of combining individual speeches with free debates, knockouts with tournament. The holding of this competition comprehensively promoted the extensive and in-depth constitutional education of all types of schools at all levels, so that the concept of “Study the Constitution, and Talk about the Constitution was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, which led the young students to understand and respect the Constitution, promote the spirit of the Constitution, and enhance the concept of the rule of law.
