Strategy of Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) about Talents Support Provincial Western Economic Booming Belt has Achieved Remarkable Results

According to a recent announcement issued by the Shandong Development and Reform Commission, Professor Qi Fuqiang, Professor Cui Bo, Professor Duan Hongdong, Associate Professor Liu Tongjun, Professor Qin Dawei, Professor Wang Tengfei, Professor Xu Chonghai, Professor Zhu Chaofeng and other experts from Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) approved the project of the 2018 talents supporting provincial western economic booming belt and the supporting project of provincial key areas for poverty alleviation to introduce urgently needed talent. The total number of the project ranks the first place among the
provincial universities in Shandong .
The project was issued under the command of the Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance in 2016. It aims to strengthen the demand for talents supporting provincial western economic booming belt and the supporting project of provincial key areas for poverty alleviation to introduce urgently needed talent and to make best use of the talents and to improve capital efficiency. According to the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Deepening the Reform of the System of Talent Development (Central Committee of the Communist Party of China [2016] No. 9), Opinions on Strengthening the Project of Talents Supporting Provincial Western Economic Booming Belt and the Supporting Project of Provincial Key Areas for Poverty Alleviation to Introduce Urgently Needed Talent. (Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Committee [2014] No. 49), Supporting the Implementation of the Detail Rules for the Introduce of Urgently Needed Talent (Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Committee [2014] No.55) and Shandong Province Regional Strategy Promotion Special Fund Management Measures (Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Investment [2014] No. 483) and other documents were formulated. From 2016 to 2020, about 100 talent projects will be supported each year. In 2018, 101 projects have entered into the publicity stage under the approval of provincial leading group for talent work.
