The IBSF World Youth Snooker Championships ended Successfully at Qilu University of Technology (SDAS)

 

  On the evening of July 11, the 2018 IBSF World Youth Snooker Championship ended successfully at the Qilu University of Technology (SDAS) Changqing Campus Art Center. Mubarak Al Kayalin, President of the International Billy and Snooker Association (IBSF), Tang Xu, Deputy Secretary General of the China Billiards Association, Liu Shaohua, Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Sun Lewei, Director of the Department of Physical Education, Shandong Provincial Education Department President of Qilu University of Technology (SDAS) Chen Jiachuan, Vice President (Deputy Dean) Zhou Youbo, Chairman of Jinan Maimai Sports Industry Co., Ltd. Yuan Honglin attended the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winners.

     IBSF Chairman Kayalin delivered a speech at the closing ceremony and praised the organization and venue facilities. He was satisfied with the services provided by Lu Industrial University (SDAS) in terms of volunteers, network, security, logistics support, and atmosphere building.

     The competition lasted for 9 days. After more than 300 competitions, Wu Yize, the Chinese player, won the U21 group in the IBSF World Youth Snooker Championship. Bai Yulu won the women's U21 team runner-up. In addition, the Chinese Legion also took the top four in the men's U18 group, and the champion. He Guoqiang scored a single shot with a score of 147 points in the U21 group.

     It is reported that this is the first time that the IBSF World Youth Snooker Championship has settled in Shandong. This is the first time that Quancheng Jinan has hosted the A-level international competition. The IBSF World Youth Snooker Championship was founded in 1987. O'Sullivan, Alberton, Dahdi, Ding Junhui, Liang Wenbo and other star players have all won in the World Youth Championship.
