Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and International Judo Federation to Exchange and Cooperate with Qilu University of Technology (SDAS)
On May 23, the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and the International Judo Federation visited the University for the cooperation of the World Sports University. Chen Jiachuan, President (Dean) of Qilu University of Technology (SDAS) met with the Honorary Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and Chairman of the International Judo Federation, Maris Wiese and his colleagues in the meeting room 358 of the Office Building, and held a meeting in Room 356. Executive Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Sports Association Ma Wenguang, Vice Chairman Xie Guanghan, Director of the Jinan Municipal Sports Bureau Gao Liwen, Director of the Football Management Center Kang Wei, and Chairman of Shandong Menghang Investment Co., Ltd. Wu Mingqi attended the meeting. Vice President (Vice Dean) Ma Wencai presided over the forum. The heads of relevant functional departments of both parties attended the meeting.
On behalf of the school, Chen Jiachuan extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Maris Weize and his colleagues. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the integration of science and education in schools and the innovative measures of the school in terms of campus layout planning, teaching reform and personnel training, talent team building, double first-class construction, and social service capabilities. He said that the school would actively undertake the International Sports Forum, seminars, international competitions, international sports training and other activities of the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation, and play an important role in the world sports culture exchange, the development and design of sports-specific tourism products, and the promotion of sports.
Ma Wenguang said that the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and Qilu University of Technology (SDAS) would make more active and effective work in revitalizing the national sports, developing the sports economy, strengthening the sports market, and promoting mass fitness relying on the platform of the World Sports University. With the close cooperation with the International Judo Federation, we will also further promote the development of sports industry and the cultural exchanges between China and the Belt and Roadcountries along the route.
Mares Wieser pointed out that the International Judo Federation supports friendly communication between members of the world and actively promotes the popularity of judo in the world. The spirit of friendship, cooperation and fair play embraced by the judo movement also contributes to the cultural exchange between young people in different colleges and universities. The International Judo Association will work together with the Asia-Pacific Federation of Sports Federations and Qilu University of Technology (SDAS) to jointly promote the cultivation of sports talents, the development of sports industry, the exchange of sports academics and the dissemination of sports culture.
In the meeting, Chen Jiachuan and Maris Weize jointly unveiled for the “Asia Pacific Sports Federation Secretariat”.
After the meeting, visitors came to visit the Ceramic Glass Science and Art Museum accompanied by Chen Jiachuan.
