Courses of Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) were Recognized as First-class Undergraduate Courses in Shandong Province


      Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education identified 798 courses as the top-ranked undergraduate courses in Shandong Province in 2019. Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences) has been recognized for 25 courses, and the number of accreditation ranks among the top universities in the province.

The Ministry of Educations Implementation Opinions on the Construction of First-Class Undergraduate Courses proposes that after about three years, about 10,000 national-level and provincial 10,000-level undergraduate courses have been completed (referred to as the Double Ten Thousand Plan for first-class undergraduate courses). The construction of first-class undergraduate courses is a major measure to establish a new concept of course construction and implement the results of teaching reform into the course construction. The 25 courses have been identified as the phased results of implementing the action plan for the training of first-class undergraduate talents in university (SDAS), laying a solid foundation for the training of first-class undergraduate talents in university (SDAS).

Curriculum is the core element of talent training, and the quality of the course directly determines the quality of talent training. In the next step, the university (SDAS) will introduce a first-class curriculum construction implementation plan and implement the six major construction contents: take Virtue into the Classroom as the starting point to build a All staff education, whole process education, all-round education educating peoples congress structure, target-oriented strengthening of curriculum connotation construction, and cultivate training as the key point to improve teachers teaching ability, innovate teaching methods with the aim of improving teaching results, improve the process evaluation system with the focus on stimulating learning motivation and professional interest, strictly improve curriculum management with a focus on improving the implementation of the system, and comprehensively promote first-class courses construction.
