  A Delegation from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development of the State Government of South Australia Visited the University  

    On March 12, the Minister of Primary Industry and Regional Development of the State Government of South Australia, Mr. Skliven, and his delegation visited the University , and Vice President Liu Yu attended the activity. The American Affairs Department of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office is in charge of the comrades accompanying, and the Department of Biological Engineering is in charge of the comrades and representatives of teaching and research personnel attending the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Shao Xiaobo, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department. 

  •      At the meeting, Liu Yu, on behalf of the university , extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Minister Skliven and his delegation. He hoped that the University and South Australia to consolidate and deepen the foundation of cooperation, expand new areas of cooperation, explore the establishment of more extensive and in-depth cooperation and exchange projects and platforms, jointly build a new form of partnership between the two sides, deepen scientific research and education cooperation in many common areas of interest to Shandong and South Australia, and work together to create a win-win situation. Skliven spoke highly of the achievements made by the university in recent years in international cooperation, student training, integration of industry, university and research. She said that she will support South Australia and the university (SDAS) to strengthen interaction and cooperation, achieve complementary advantages, promote win-win development, and make Shandong and South Australia achieve a new leap in cooperation.

  •    The University has more than 30 years of international cooperation with South Australia. At present, the university  and a number of well-known universities and research institutes in South Australia jointly built five joint laboratories, the two sides in the new generation of information technology, biomedicine, high-end equipment and new materials and other fields of joint research.
