From June 21 to 25, Mamtov Rafchan, chairman of the Agriculture and Water Resources Committee of the Legislative Yuan of the Supreme Parliament of Uzbekistan, and his delegation received practical technology training in the field of agriculture at the Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). Members of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan accompanied the training.
Wu Yantao, secretary of the Party Committee of the university , met with the delegation and briefly introduced the personnel training and scientific and technological development in the field of agricultural technology of the university . He expressed the hope that the two sides will further strengthen communication and exchanges, deepen cooperation relations and expand cooperation areas in personnel training, platform construction and scientific and technological innovation, so as to build a new momentum for high-quality development.
On the morning of 21st, the opening ceremony of the training class was held in Qianfo Campus. Wang Zhongwei, second-level inspector of provincial Science and Technology Department, Zhou Yinhu, third-level researcher of Science and Technology Cooperation Department of municipal Science and Technology Bureau, school director Duan Peiyong, deputy school director Cao Maoyong attended the opening ceremony. Wang Zhongwei introduced the overall situation of agricultural science and technology innovation in the province from the aspects of industrial scale, scientific and technological strength and talent team, and pointed out that the province has broad prospects with Uzbekistan in water-saving agriculture, comprehensive management of saline-alkali land, andagricultural machinery. Duan peiyong introduced the overall situation of the university and the recent exchanges and cooperation with universities and research institutes in Uzbekistan, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan for its strong support to the university during the organization of the training course.
During the training, Uzbekistan delegation accepted the the highly efficient efficient cultivation of vegetables, agricultural intelligent mechanization, health agriculture and health food, wisdom agriculture big data technology training, and to "in-sea saline-alkali governance technology joint innovation base" laboratory, national supercomputing center of Jinan science park, Jinan modern urban agriculture boutique garden site view. The two sides reached consensus on cooperation on green and low-carbon agricultural projects and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
