On March 10, Qilu University of Technology（SDAS） and the Brazilian State University of Campinas held an exchange and dialogue activity at the INOVA campus of the University of Campinas, signed a cooperation framework agreement between the two universities and unveiled the "Shandong - Sao Paulo Smart low-carbon Energy Technology Cooperation Innovation and Cooperation Center". Song Junji, Vice governor of Shandong Province, participated in the activity and witnessed the signing and unveiling.
Song Junji said in his speech that Shandong is deeply implementing the spirit of the Party's 20 major Congress, anchoring the goal of "going ahead and opening a new bureau", and gathering efforts to build a green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot area. He pointed out that as a top scientific research institution in Latin America, the research results of Campinas State University in the fields of renewable energy and smart grid are highly consistent with the needs of Shandong's industrial transformation, and he hoped that the two sides will take the opportunity of jointly building China-Pakistan science and technology cooperation platform to further deepen joint technological research, joint training of talents, joint transformation of results, and accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity. Song Junji stressed that the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province should give full play to the role of the main channel of international science and technology cooperation, build a normal docking platform, and improve the cooperation mechanism of the whole chain from basic research to industrial application.

Under the witness of Vice Governor Song Junji, the two sides signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) and Campinas State University, and unveiled the "Shandong - Sao Paulo Smart Low-carbon Energy Science and Technology Cooperation Innovation Center".
