On September 7th, the Party Secretary of the university (institute), Wu Yantao, and the President of the university (institute), Duan Peiying, led the leadership team of the university (institute) to the registration site for new students. They closely observed the registration situation of the new students and expressed their concern for the front-line staff. One after another, the specially designated shuttle buses of the university shuttle between the subway station and various apartment buildings, picking up and dropping off the numerous students who have come to register at the Qilu University of Technology（SDAS）. The "senior" students at the registration point patiently answer the questions and offer guidance to the freshmen, making their registration process efficient and reassuring. The volunteers wearing red vests are seen moving around every corner of the campus, helping to guide the freshmen through the registration and accommodation procedures. The Mechanical Engineering Department, the Control Engineering Department, and the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department have set up special robot display areas, intelligent technology interactive registration areas, and AI future experience areas, showcasing students' scientific and technological creations such as intelligent vehicles and robots, as well as AI achievements like robot dogs and robots. Through these activities, new students can experience the unique charm of intelligent technology in an interactive way. The Oceanography Department, the Food Science Department, the Environmental Science Department, the Business and Economics Department, and the Foreign Language College have displayed representative research results - models of ocean buoys, allowing new students to taste freshly-made cookies, yogurt, and other foods made by the departments, fully stimulating their learning enthusiasm and professional identity. It is known that this year's orientation work will still be carried out separately in the Changqing Campus, Licheng Campus and Heze Campus. The registration date for new students at the Changqing Campus and Licheng Campus is September 7th, while the registration date at the Heze Campus is September 8th.
